Please attach at least the full Xorg.0.log file from the crashed X server and the corresponding xorg.conf.

Comment 5 Michel Dänzer 2008-05-01 07:46:32 UTC
The log file doesn't seem to be from a crashed X server, but it's most likely a driver issue anyway.
Comment 6 Todd Zimmerman 2008-06-10 09:57:53 UTC
This could be possibly related to bug 15409, although I can't replicate the specific issue with this bug as I can with bug 15409
Comment 7 Aaron Plattner 2009-08-14 00:46:06 UTC
If this problem still reproduces with recent X servers and drivers, please get a backtrace from the crash.

manolo, Kubuntu 8.04 Desktop is EOL as of May 12, 2011. For more on this, please see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases .

If this is reproducible in a supported release, it will help immensely if you filed a new report with Ubuntu by ensuring you have the package xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button for attaching additional debugging information running the following from a terminal:
ubuntu-bug xorg

Also, please feel free to subscribe me to it.
