Whenever I launch blender and start rotating the camera around the default cube blender crashes the x server. I'm using the opensource nv driver as the machine is a ppc linux machine. Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.
This is a really old bug. Are you still able to reproduce this behavior on more recent kernels and Mesa?
Too ancient, closing.
