I would like to submit a layout for typing Arabic using the
Buckwalter transliteration, described at
http://www.qamus.org/transliteration.htm .

I created it about three years ago, probably deriving it from what
has become symbols/ara today.

If it is accepted, I would like to enhance it a bit by providing an
original an a XML-friendly variant, and also variants for the
numbers, and integrate it with symbols/ara.
