Description Pedro 2013-09-27 00:08:40 UTC
After installing Mendeley, the Mendeley toolbar installs as the first bar in the UI.
This causes the Firefox Theme to be loaded twice (see image attached to next comment).

This is not important if the Theme is a single colour or seamless pattern but if it has some logo it will be duplicated.

I believe this bug can occur in any of the Modules/Programs.

This is related to previously reported bug #63837

Notice the double LibreOffice logo on the top right corner of the interface: the top one showing where it was designed to be and the second "under" the Standard toolbar

I provided the info requested back in September 2011(!!!) Why is it still as NEEDINFO?

The bug still occurs on LO 4.3.2.2

I meant 2013! On the same day that it was requested!

Pedro: simply answer is, because you didn't put the bug back in UNCONFIRMED. Please note: SCREAMING will not increase the speed in which your bug is fixed.

I tested your theme in LO 4.2.2.1 and it works perfectly fine here. I have Mendeley installed. But no Mendeley extension if that was what you meant.

Can you please retry with the latest LO and see if this persists?

First: I will not change the status of my own bugs. I was accused before of setting my own bugs to NEW.

Second: I did not scream. In case you don't know, screaming is typing in CAPITALS, which I did not do (I just copied the Status which happens to be in all capitals...)

Third: In Comment 4 I wrote "The bug still occurs on LO 4.3.2.2"

Fourth: If the Mendeley toolbar is not loaded (as shown in the attached screenshot) the bug will not be replicated.

Downloaded and installed Mendeley desktop http://www.mendeley.com/dashboard/
Mendeley Desktop - Tools - Install LibreOffice plugin.
Installed your theme.
Works fine without doubling.

I take that back - there is doubling, but quite inconsistently. I only seem to be getting it in Calc and Math. Yet, is this "our bug"?

Yes, it is not related to Mendeley. It just shows on Writer (and possibly other LO modules) when some toolbar configuration occurs (on Math it occurs even without any other toolbar).

This is a particular case of bug #63837 as mentioned on the first comment.

In any case if you have confirmed that the bug exists you can switch the status to NEW
Comment 14 Buovjaga 2014-11-16 05:08:05 UTC
Ok let's set to NEW and hope for the best.

** Please read this message in its entirety before responding **

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present on a currently supported version of LibreOffice (5.0.4 or later)
   https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the version of LibreOffice and your operating system, and any changes you see in the bug behavior

the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a short comment that includes your version of LibreOffice and Operating System

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so:

1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3)

http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug

3. Leave a comment with your results.

4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to "inherited from OOo";

4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add "regression" to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=libreoffice-qa

Thank you for your help!

Due to REGRESSION https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88502

it is currently impossible to test if bug still occurs.

Please ask me again when REGRESSION #88502 is fixed.
