I am running Ubuntu Dappers X.org 7.0 with the i810 driver from Alan's website.

I am using xcompmgr and I cannot hide GL windows but raising other over the GL ones.

Doesn't happen if I turn off xcompmgr.

Does this still happen with the existing drivers. (forget mine from the website)

Yes, with the drivers from Ubuntu Edgy, this still happens.

Ah, this is probably because the DRI doesn't yet support redirected windows.
