I'm running Slackware 13.37 x86 ConsoleKit-0.4.3 and I noticed in /var/log/syslog theses messages;

slackware console-kit-daemon[1504]: WARNING: Failed to acquire org.freedesktop.ConsoleKit

slackware console-kit-daemon[1504]: WARNING: Could not acquire name; bailing out

As you can see the PID above is 1504.

Then when I look in ps I get it with a different PID;

root 1432  0.0  0.0  25672  3292 ? Ssl  12:59   0:00 /usr/sbin/console-kit-daemon

As you can see from the ps output above the PID running is 1432.

My understanding is this problem is the daemon is trying to start twice. If this is correct is there anything I can do to fix this problem on my end?
