The screen on my Eee is flickering any time large parts of the screen is redrawn, such as when windows are moved around. This worked fine in -rc5.
The behaviour is similar to what I described here, but I have no idea if that's relevant or not:
-- chipset: 910GML
-- system architecture: 32-bit
-- Linux distribution: Debian unstable
-- Machine or mobo model: Asus Eee PC 701 4G (using latest BIOS from Asus)

-- kernel: 2.6.31-rc6

Assume higher latency
Can you give this patch a try?
With the patch, everything is back to normal. Thanks for solving the problem so fast! :)

Will the patch make it for 2.6.31?
I'll ping Eric and ask him to include it.
This didn't make it for -rc9 did it?
(If not, I'll ask the debian maintainers to add it.)
Yeah, doesn't look like it...
