logging out from kde (4.2.4) drops to a black screen and appears to lock up the system. (can't kill X or switch VT's), I never get back to kdm. shutdown works fine. only happens on when kms/uxa is enabled. experiencing it in 2.7.1 and 2.7.99.901

Do you think this might be a dupe of #20867?

yeah the same workaround in that bug works, although X doesn't seem to die (at least not fully) but lock up. I'm not really sure what locks up though. marking as dupe.
