Bug detailed description:
--------------------------
startx, then play a video by mplayer. we try to rotate desktop by xrandr.it works well when rotate to right,left and inverted.but when rotate back to normal, it will takes a long time about 1 minute. this issue only happens with a video is playing. it works well when rotate with glxgears. 

Reproduce Steps:
------------------
1.xinit&
2. gnome-session&
3. mplayer -vo xv xxxx
4. xrandr --output LVDS1 --rotate left
4. xrandr --output LVDS1 --rotate normal

yes,it still exists with Xv fixes.
