Colors are entirely distorted while running compiz. Black seems to be commonly interpretted as transparent while other colors are translucent. See attached images. This might be relevant to this bug: commit 66175aac7609ad314f25fbdff0d3958af310dc24 Author: Eric Anholt <eric@anholt.net> Date: Wed Mar 18 12:07:09 2009 -0700 Fix DRI2 accelerated EXT_texture_from_pixmap with GL_RGB format. though I haven't managed to reproduce your rendering problem. Could you retest?
It seems that things are fixed now. I was unable to run compiz for quite a while last month but I would suspect that the commit you cited probably contributed. I'll reopen if there are any other issues.
