forwarded from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libxrandr/+bug/307306 Seems like it only affects i945 chips, so maybe a bug in the intel driver? -- I upgraded Jaunty this morning, and after a reboot, my system was utterly slow and sluggish as soon as I started the GNOME session. boot and gdm worked fine, and a failsafe X-Terminal only session works fine as well. I bisected this to the upgrade of libxrandr2 from 2:1.2.3-1 to 2:1.2.99.2-0ubuntu1.
