Description Deepak Bhatia 2008-08-14 04:47:38 UTC
Hello,

We have the Intel Desktop PC with on board VGA Card.

We installed the ATI Radeon 7000 64MB Video card on the available PCI Slot.

We then generated the xorg.conf file using Xorg -configure.

This gave us the Driver i810 as Card0 and Driver "ati" as Card1. We then tested all the multimonitor modes "Clone", "Expand", "Independent", which were working.

Then we replaced the i810 by intel driver in the xorg.conf and then none of the multimonitor modes worked.

We shared the X-org log file with Mr. Alan Hourihane.

The Xorg log file with i810 driver is attached.
The Xorg log file with intel driver is attached.
The xorg.conf file is attached

Deepak, please attach xorg.conf and log.

If you use the old style zaphod config, that won't work.

I'm afraid we don't support intel+radeon issues.
