Description Lennart Poettering 2008-08-13 05:33:48 UTC
I'd like to use the fdo bugzilla for tracking bugs in libcanberra, a sound event library that recently got its blessing as external dependancy for gnome.

Could you please create a bugzillla product for me? Or if this is self-service, tell me how I am supposed to do it?

Thanks!

Howdy the fd.o bugzilla is for use by fd.o projects only. Could you please indicate how libcanberra is related to a fd.o project?

Uh? There's not exactly something like a "fdo" project. I mean, I use fdo for the ML of Avahi, too -- although Avahi itself isn't hosted on fdo. Now I would like to use fdo BZ for another project that is hosted outside: libcanberra. Where's the problem? Since when is fdo an all-or-nothing thing?

Having said that it would make a lot of sense for lc to be hosted fdo. The main reason it is not is that it was easy for me to set the website/git up on my local servers, and in the end it doesn't really matter where things are hosted, does it?

Added canberra bz product, with a default component, and lennart as the default assignee. Please reopen if you have additional components or a different assignee in mind.
