Emerge info showing basic info.

I have configuration with two displays active.
1st is laptop display (1280x800) and second is HP w19 (1440x900).
I run gentoo and have version info in the end of this description.
My computer is Acer TravelMate 4101WLMi (Pentium-M, centrino, i915 integrated graphics).
After running allegro-setup it displays the menus correctly on the HP, but instead of making laptop display turn black as other openglgames (gl-117) do, it 1st turns green and then gradually white over the span of 5-10 seconds.
It seems to me that the backlight is possibly at 100% and I can see some small color gradients and spots on the display while it is almost completely white.

I can repeat this by just running allegro-setup.

I recover from this after closing allegro-setup by 1st going to vt and switching back to xorg. At that time the laptop display shows the correct image (background picture with some icons on top), but I cant move mouse cursor nor any windows to there. I reset this by 1st turning LVDS off with xrandr and then setting it below HP display (VGA).

This does not cause any crashes and I can recover from this. Still the effect is quite scary and I haven't let the lvds stay white for more then ~20 seconds.

emerge info and package version infos in attachments.

You can refer to http://www.intellinuxgraphics.org/how_to_report_bug.html to provide more info.

Can you simplify the problem from "two display configuration" to only one display?

Can you provide more info about allegro-setup? e.g. how to get it? I don't have any idea about it. Thanks.

Seems we've lost the reporter, so I'll have to close it.

Please reopen if you could answer comment#2.
