When I attempt to play a video on my rotated VGA display using xine, I get strange corruption. Some videos simply display a solid blue rectangle, and some display part of the video correctly, part corrupted, and part as solid blue. When I unrotate the display (xrandr -o normal), the movies play correctly. This has happened to me with every version of the driver that I've tried from Debian 2.0.0-5 to Debian 2.2.0-1. Thanks!
Please attach your config and the corresponding log with intel 2.2 driver.
Created attachment 12755 [details] xorg.conf with driver 2.2.0-1
Created attachment 12756 [details] Log with driver version 2.2.0-1
Created attachment 12757 [details] Screenshot of corruption movie Okay, I've attached a config, log, and a screenshot of the corruption. I've cropped the screenshot to only show the movie window, since the quality's not great. You can see the titlebar at the top of the image, a large blue region below that, random corruption at the bottom right, and an image of a lion on the bottom left. The lion is supposed to fill the movie window, and it's supposed to be right side up. Thanks!
This bug is still occurring as of driver version 2.2.0.90-2 from Debian sid.
Pls test with current master.
Fix is in upstream, close this one. pls reopen if this bug still exist.
20 hours? That's all I get to check if this is fixed before it gets closed on me? :-) I can confirm that this is fixed for me in git commit 66cdccb021a4748b2af41e415c36ed58ca808df6 (from today's master). Thanks.
