Description CIJOML CIJOMLovic CIJOMLov 2007-07-13 13:27:37 UTC
Panel display's resolution is 1280x1024, laptop's display resolution is 1024x768.

cijoml@notas:~$ xrandr

Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1280 x 960, maximum 1280 x 1280
                                                ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Why? In windows with Intel's driver I can use native resolutions on both displays.

To fix this I had to set higher "VertRefresh 43-75" in Monitor section. I think this should be autofixed when too low VertRefresh is set I had 43-60, but xorg find 63. Maybe to have +-10% should be nice!

Mass reopen. The "REMIND" resolution is lame, I'm deleting it. Consider yourself reminded.
Comment 4 Hong Liu 2008-02-26 18:44:27 UTC
Would you please try a newer version of driver and Xserver? It seems we can't get the EDID data from your VGA output.

Thanks,
Hong
