With 16:9 monitor, when using xrandr -s to change resolution to 1280x1024@75Hz, the screen left 4cm is black (it set viewport 0,0 at 4cm right of screen). In other resolution or 1280x1024@60Hz, screen display all are right. My monitor is Sunsung SyncMaster 205BW. Reproduce steps: ---------------- connect with 16:9 monitor; start Xorg run xrandr to change resolution to 1280x1024@75Hz.
Does this still exist with latest driver? try to use new xrandr option?
