Linux mad-lap 2.6.30-gentoo-r2 #5 SMP Tue Jul 7 01:21:00 CEST 2009 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

KDE 4.2.4
KMS enabeld.

3D application flicker heavily (part of the desktop visiblie, like the buffers of the desktop behind and 3D app are fighting.)

Larger windows or fullscreen applications cause Xorg to crash.

The log says:
(EE) DoSwapInterval: cx = 0x59034e0, GLX screen = 0x4725480

This seems similar to bug#21054. Could you try newer mesa, like mesa master tip or 7.5?
Comment 4 Mad 2009-07-07 11:10:27 UTC
After updating to Mesa-7.5 the flickering stopped.

glxgears can run maximized without crashing, googleearth still crashes. But the stacktrace does only show qt-related stuff. I think this is not part of this bug. I will try other app later.

Hibernate is still crashing xorg... *sigh*

I will look for another hibernate-related bug or open a new one.

The latest Linus's tree has some suspend/resume fixes, like bug#22366.
