Description WuNian 2007-05-21 18:22:45 UTC
With 16:9 monitor, when using xrandr -s to change resolution to
1280x1024@75Hz, the screen left 4cm is black (it set viewport 0,0 at 4cm right
of screen).
In other resolution or 1280x1024@60Hz, screen display all are right.
My monitor is Sunsung SyncMaster 205BW.

Reproduce steps:
----------------
connect with 16:9 monitor;
start Xorg
run xrandr to change resolution to 1280x1024@75Hz.

Does this still exist with latest driver? try to use new xrandr option?
Comment 2 WuNian 2007-05-21 18:54:17 UTC
Yes, it still exists with the latest driver.
We also used --mode option.
Comment 3 he jiang 2007-09-11 22:28:56 UTC
Yes, it can reproduce using the latest driver.
Comment 4 Michael Fu 2007-09-20 18:28:22 UTC
we just need to add a quirk for this specific monitor...
