Hello, W hen setting packagekit to automatically install all update (I know, not advisable) and one of the packages has conflicts with another installed package (in my very case, I've installed mysql-administrator from source and now it keeps complaining that the repository one conflicts and cant be installed) the packagekit enters in a infinite loop try over and over again to install (and fail), checking repo list, download (using the cache, which means that even turning internet off doesnt help), check dependences, fail... ad infinitum. As the icons keep changing (and the "downloading" and "installing" icons dont show the "configuration" option) you are unable to turn the automatic updates off. To stop the annoyance I had to execute gpk-prefs in the command line and turn automatic updates off. The only long term way around this problem I could find was to add the package to the yum ignore list. Regards,
