i recheck the edid error-message with a kernel 2.6.31 (linux-2.6.31-gentoo-r6)
the same error message appears, but i have screen on the tft
Comment 7 Jesse Barnes 2010-02-05 14:48:09 UTC
Still happen with more recent kernels like 2.6.33-rc? We had some EDID fixes recently, but it could be that your monitor is reporting bad info.
Comment 8 Michael Lange 2010-02-14 04:59:32 UTC
i will test with an kernel 2.6.33-rc next week
but, there are no problems with an ATI HD 4350, a git-version of xorg-ati and the benq tft
Comment 9 Michael Lange 2010-03-12 12:53:05 UTC
with the last stable 2.6.33 it works again, without any error message
Comment 10 Jesse Barnes 2010-04-06 11:50:41 UTC
Thanks for the update.
