I received a mail from Daniel Stone saying my freedesktop account has been disabled due to "a vulnerable SSH key", and that I need to get a GPG key associated with my account. What's the procedure for generating a GPG key, and making it visible on the subkeys.pgp.net keyserver?

I've followed http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/AccountRequests page. I found the page confusing to follow: 1. The procedure steps are out of order - it describes "Verify that your GPG key is visible via subkeys.pgp.net" before it shows you how to create the GPG key. 2.
