Created attachment 136827 [details] kernel log Running the GraphicsFuzz benchmark (https://www.graphicsfuzz.com/benchmark/android-v1.html) on Chromium 63.0.3239.132. On shader 15, Xorg briefly freezes and then Xorg and the radeon kernel driver crash. This is on an Arch Linux with mesa 17.3.2. $ glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer string" OpenGL renderer string: AMD PITCAIRN (DRM 2.50.0 / 4.14.13-1-ARCH, LLVM 5.0.1)
Reproducible with Firefox 57.0.3 using Mesa Git master on OpenGL renderer string: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series (CAPE VERDE / DRM 3.23.0 / 4.14.13+, LLVM 7.0.0)
Can you both try this site, too? http://webglsamples.org/aquarium/aquarium.html It worked some days/weeks before XMas on RX580 (radeonsi) under Konqueror (5.0.97). Since then I get WebGL unsupportet with Firefox (57.0.4). 'It does not appear your computer supports WebGL. Click here for more information. Status: WebGL creation failed: * Error during native OpenGL init. * Error during native OpenGL init. * Error during native OpenGL init. * Error during native OpenGL init. * Error during native OpenGL init. * Exhausted GL driver caps. * Exhausted GL driver options.' Some subpages (Google) demos works with Konqueror (5.0.97) http://webglsamples.org/blob/blob.html http://webglsamples.org/dynamic-cubemap/dynamic-cubemap.html http://webglsamples.org But nothing with Firefox. If this is unrelated I'll open my own bug.
