Almost same exact crash reproduced by geekounet` on Freenode #dri
geekounet` put this in #dri from rafb/paste
NOTE: This bug is no longer marked as x86_64. It is confirmed to also happen on x86 Gentoo, with an i915GM. So the two configs that it happened on are very different. Have you compiled and installed the required modified agpgart module at git://git.freedesktop.org/git/mesa/linux-agp-compat ? /Thomas (In reply to comment #3) > Have you compiled and installed the required modified agpgart module at > > git://git.freedesktop.org/git/mesa/linux-agp-compat > > ? > > /Thomas > > Thanks, i have installed this module and now it works fine for me. We need to make the system fail more gracefully when the wrong agpgart module is used. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 9120 *** (In reply to comment #3) > Have you compiled and installed the required modified agpgart module at > > git://git.freedesktop.org/git/mesa/linux-agp-compat > > ? > > /Thomas > > Thomas, Thanks for your assistance. If I compile the new agp module as indicated and still can't get it to work, I will post back. |
