Attachments: Patch to add pc105 functionality to the evdev xkb model

Description David Durrleman 2006-06-27 23:43:36 UTC
I own a french pc105 keyboard, and recently tried to use it with the evdev
driver. I set the xkb model to be "evdev", and the layout to fr, but I found out
that the 105th key was missing : [<]. Thus, the pc105 geometry couldn't be set,
even though the symbols were set at "pc(pc105)+fr".

I have a (trivial) patch for this.

With it, it works perfectly. Since the 94 keycode is not already defined in the
evdev model, there is no conflict, so I guess it is safe to just add it.

According to http://webcvs.freedesktop.org/xorg/data/xkbdata/keycodes/evdev this
bug is not fixed, or am I looking at the wrong file ?
