Created attachment 78453 [details] dmesg : kill X cause call trace with DP pipe Description: ------------------------ When killed X with other pipe like: VGA,eDP, there's not "Call Trace" in dmesg, but when I plugged in DP, then xinit & and pkill X, system will cause a "Call Trace". I have checked many kernels till to re-3.8, all have this issue. It doesn't cause other problem, might because of this, we haven't checked the dmesg when killed X. Currently I can't find a good commit, and I append the dmesg of re-3.8 kernel test results. If anything needed, I'm glad to working for this. reproduce step: ------------------------ 1. plugged in DP pipe 2. xinit & 3. pkill X 4. dmesg | grep -i "call trace"
