The current xorg-docs package is written in linuxdoc, which appears to be an outdated format that's been supersceded by docbook. Furthermore, at least on my system, linuxdoc chokes hard on building the pdfs, and incorrectly builds the html docs. In contrast, docbook works much better and is actively maintained. I'm going to try and convert the various docs to docbook format and update the docs build system to handle it. Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future. Move to 7.3 tracker. Do people want me to do relnotes for this release? do you want to do relnotes for 7.5? :) (In reply to comment #5) > do you want to do relnotes for 7.5? :) Sure, if you want them I'd love to have them and I'd be happy to do them. I think they're important for end users to know what's going on, but no one seemed interested in the past. Updating title to 7.5. |
