Description Alan Coopersmith 2005-12-21 10:07:45 UTC
This bug is a tracker for documentation updates for the X11R7.1 releases.

If moving a bug to block this instead of bug #5041, please do not close the bug
until the documentation has been updated.
Comment 1 David Nusinow 2006-10-21 10:14:33 UTC
The current xorg-docs package is written in linuxdoc, which appears to be an
outdated format that's been supersceded by docbook. Furthermore, at least on my
system, linuxdoc chokes hard on building the pdfs, and incorrectly builds the
html docs. In contrast, docbook works much better and is actively maintained.
I'm going to try and convert the various docs to docbook format and update the
docs build system to handle it.

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.
Comment 3 Adam Jackson 2007-04-08 13:36:56 UTC
Move to 7.3 tracker.

Do people want me to do relnotes for this release?
Comment 5 Daniel Stone 2009-08-31 18:00:31 UTC
do you want to do relnotes for 7.5? :)

Sure, if you want them I'd love to have them and I'd be happy to do them. I think they're important for end users to know what's going on, but no one seemed interested in the past.

Updating title to 7.5.
