Created attachment 3843 [details] [review] fix for non-sse capable i386 machines *** Bug 5099 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** The patch in this bug fixes the problem I reported in 5099. My X server comes up and seems to work normally. It would be great if this fix got into 6.9/7.0. Jesse Cross-reference:
