Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future. This is partially fixed by David Nusinow in 1.4 & even more in git master,
but more work remains.
1.4 no longer requires listing FontPath or modules to load.
post-1.4-git adds:
Allow the user to not have a screen section
Don't require that the screen explicitly attach the device section
I've got plans to finish this. There's still a few more things left to finish though. Is there anything left to fix now? I've successfully used xorg.conf files with a single ServerOption flag in with Xorg 1.6. This is fixed thanks to xorg.conf.d |
