I'm using the 'redshift' application, which uses 'xcb_randr_set_crtc_gamma_checked' in order to adjust the gamma on my screen.

Unfortunately, when I perform a screen rotation using xrandr, these settings get reset back to default!

I believe this was a regression between the version of X.org shipped with Natty and Oneiric.

While you believe it's a regression, can you confirm that it is a regression in the *server* not some driver issues?

Also, what versions (video drivers and server) were you using when it worked and when it failed?

Here's an old Xorg log I found lying around on my system. I'm not sure if it corresponds, but looking at the kernel version there is a high probability it does.
