Description Ian Wienand 2005-08-30 21:56:16 UTC
Hi,

I recently got a mighty mouse and to make it work I needed to bind the REL_Z
event to the horizonal scrolling. I'm really not sure if this might break other
things, but it makes evdev pick up the horizontal scroll at least.

Thanks,

-i

Z Axis scrolling with inverted directions

Sorry about that, the original did seem to bind them around the wrong way (I
did get it right in Debian bug #325807 though :)

i'm not entirely sure about this. wouldn't the Z axis normally be vertical
scrolling?
Comment 5 Brian Murray 2005-11-01 12:18:55 UTC
I have submitted a similar patch to the EVDev thread, which handles the
configureability of the axis as well as the Wheel and HWheel axis from options
in the config file. I didn't notice this patch untill after I had created the Z
scrolling for mine, even though yours came out further.

Whoa! Sorry about setting the priority high! My browser freaked out.
Comment 7 Zephaniah E. Hull 2006-02-16 10:36:55 UTC
I believe that the evdev rewrite recently committed to the modular tree should
solve this issue.

If not, please reopen the bug.

Reassign to the new evdev maintainer.
