This doesn't really make much sense to me. If you can't meaningfully get presence for blocked contacts, then their presence should be Unknown, and they should probably not show up on the ContactList interface (and publish/subscribe). The ContactList interface already says that blocked contact SHOULD NOT be on the contact list if you can't get presence for them (as is the case on XMPP: if you send out presence probes, the blocked contact could tell you're online). http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/spec/Connection_Interface_Contact_List.html Danni's dead bug closing spree. |
