When trying to start Xorg in FreeBSD on my laptop i get a signal 11. Have tried
with dri and glx disabled. Same with all xorg-versions from 6.7.0 to 6.8.2 and
with FreeBSD 5.3 and 5.4. It works just fine on Linux.

Here is Xorg.0.log xorg.conf.new dmesg kernel-config and core-dump.

Does disabling ddc cure the problem?

It isn't clear to me that this is a duplicate of #3869.  The latter concerns the
ATI Radeon xPRESS 200M whereas this one concerns:

no, sorry, segfault in the same place in the code.
