Does anyone know if this issue is still relevant in current X.Org CVS for PPC? I think this fix was already intergated with one of Hui or Michel's last patches. I don't have a PPC or a M10 to test on though. I've got a Powerbook G4 with a M10. Which doesn't work with Xorg. After applying the mentioned patch by hand it still fails. When booting with a vga monitor attached it shows the same behaviour as the referenced bug. With only the lcd it just turns white slowly ? Any ideas ? Ben Herrenschmidt has a patch pending to fix a whole raft of ati/powerpc issues. this should be taken care of in xorg cvs. |
