Description Yan 2010-09-26 01:24:15 UTC
We have a bug that PCI express card reader automount failure in MeeGo(http://bugs.meego.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3084), according to the comments in gvfs/ggduvolume.c, only interfaces "USB", "Firewire", "sdio" and "optical discs" are allowed for automount.

To fix the bug, "scsi" may need to be added as one more interface, however, this workaround is not acceptable per David Zeuthen's comments(http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gvfs-list/2010-September/msg00008.html), David also points out the problem is how the device is classified which is done by udisks, so a bug is fired here.

Does it really only fail to automount, but you can mount it manually? If so, this is a bug in gnome-disk-utility instead, please see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=648980 .

To be sure, please attach the output of "udisks --dump" when the reader has media in it.

This is resolved in the latest udisks release.
