At some point we'd like to make the Messages interface mandatory (bug # 29376)
but sofiasip doesn't implement it yet.

For the record: this will be fixed in 0.1.9.

Krzysztof, would you mind doing a 0.1.9 release so we can move towards making Messages mandatory?
