Description Bernhard Rosenkraenzer 2010-07-16 02:30:53 UTC
After a while of running hald, this message appears in syslog:

Jul 16 10:42:29 localhost hald[835]: 10:42:28.932 [D] hotplug.c:500: events queued = 10, events in progress = 3
Jul 16 10:42:29 localhost process 835:
Jul 16 10:42:29 localhost arguments to dbus_set_error_from_message() were incorrect, assertion "(error) == NULL || !dbus_error_is_set ((error))" failed in file dbus-message.c line 3324. This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.
Jul 16 10:42:29 localhost D-Bus not built with -rdynamic so unable to print a backtrace
Jul 16 10:42:29 localhost libhal.c 4499 : Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

ATM I couldn't find any obvious error. If you still see the message, please run HAL in debug mode, that would make it may easier to find the source of the problem.
