[Problem]
On i965, windows will fail to repaint properly in KDE, leaving corruption on screen.

[Original Description]
I am getting some screen corruption using Kubuntu Karmic on my Intel GMA965. I am unsure if it's the intel driver, KDE or the way KDE uses the intel driver. I will attach a screenshot showing an example.

This first happened in Jaunty, and has not really fixed itself with the newer intel driver, so I suspect the problem lies there.

Hmm, only testing with 2.9.0-ubuntu2 and no sign of the screenshot? Also need to know what manner of compositing manager is being used by kwin. But seriously, this is likely to be a flushing issue long since fixed.

Sorry, in fact after posting this I checked back with the original reporter for fresher files and he indicated the issue was solved in lucid, he just forgot to update his bug report.
