Created attachment 31281 [details] [review] KMS patch This should make kms work. Patch is against Dave's drm-radeon-testing branch, but should apply pretty easily to most recent kernel trees. Let me know how it goes and I'll push it upstream. (In reply to comment #1) > Created an attachment (id=31281) [details] > KMS patch > > This should make kms work. Wow, that was fast :-) I will try it with 2.6.32-rc7 which I'm running currently. And the winner is....... IT WORKS :-) Created attachment 31282 [details]

Great job. Huge thanks! The kernel boot stated using both screens, the LVDS runs in it's native 1280x800, the LCD (DVI) runs on 1280x1024 with blank space at bottom. This is also great about KMS :-) Created attachment 31284 [details] [review] add acer laptop quirk Excellent. I've sent the patch to Dave. Also, I noticed your system lists the DVI-D port as DVI-I. This patch should fix that. I'll send it upstream as well. (In reply to comment #7) > Created an attachment (id=31284) [details] > add acer laptop quirk > > Excellent. I've sent the patch to Dave.
