bugzilla didn't let me attach the gpu_dump, so you have to fetch it from http://www.strlen.de/ukleinek/xcrash/ Since reporting the issue I didn't suspend/resume my system anymore and the problem didn't occur anymore. I added two more dumps to http://www.strlen.de/ukleinek/xcrash/. pre-suspend.dump was generated with a freshly booted system. After that dump I did a suspend+resume and recorded post-suspend.dump. Hope this helps to solve the problem Best regards Uwe I upgraded my kernel to 2.6.31-trunk-686 from Debian and got another lockup, again after some suspend/resume cycles I added a new backtrace and gpu-dump to http://www.strlen.de/ukleinek/xcrash/ The traces show evidence of many bugs since fixed, but none seem to the root cause of the crash. The information captured is not sufficient to discern the various flushing bugs that were the cause for many suspend failures. Marking as fixed, since at least some of the bugs have indeed been fixed, and suspend and resume appears stable on i915 at present. |

Created attachment 29178 [details] backtrace of Xorg Xorg freezes from time to time unreproducibly up to now. Most of the time but not always the mouse pointer still reacts, other than that I see no reaction at all. Not even the Num-Lock LED reacts anymore. Sysrq works though. I think this happens only after resume/suspend, not sure though.
