When I enable KMS by this command:
modprobe i915 modeset=1 

I get black screen. Only way to repair this is restart machine (Ctrl-alt-del works)

I've never managed to get KMS working.

Update: When I boot my system with i915.modeset=1 parameter:
I dont see this problem, xorg starts, kms semms to be active.

Your last add seems to say that this is fixed?  Can we close this?

Yes, please close it.
I have been trying to enable KMS, by modprobe (modprobe i915 modeset = 1) command,
but I forgot to check if kernel parameters (i915.modeset=1) works.
