I get random graphics corruption with intel-2.7.1 driver after some usage time (happens often with system on heavy load). Fonts and icons are misplaced and replaced with something random. The issue isn't there with 2.6* drivers. Compositing is enabled in Xorg.conf but not used. UXA is used as AccelMethod, xorg-server is 1.6.1.901-r3 (happens with other versions too, seems to depend only on intel driver).

Carl, this seems similar to a bug you closed recently.
Comment 2 Erik Boritsch 2009-06-12 01:09:25 UTC
The bug seems to be gone after switching to kernel 2.6.30.

Thanks. That would appear to confirm Gordon's theory that this was the same as bug #21790.

We appreciate the report!
