Description Yoran Brault 2009-05-14 16:16:59 UTC
Using Fujitsu U810 with 945GM/GMS, I can't use VGA output anymore.

I previously had problem with TV output solved by using this patch : http://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=21225 and it was working perfectly.

Now, upgraded to Xorg 1.5/intel driver 2.7, Xrand always returns VGA output as "disconnected" when LVDS is fine.

I build last 2.7 using provided tarball with exactly the same result.

I also tried last GIT version which is just freezing with a stange "setting master" message.

Please enable ModeDebug in xorg.conf, then attach Xorg.0.log, according to http://intellinuxgraphics.org/how_to_report_bug.html.

I removed "MonitorLayout" line added by my distrib (mandriva 2009.1) option in xorg, and now it's working perfectly with both CRT and LVDS.

For memory, the exact option line added by drakx11 mandriva was :
 Option "MonitorLayout" "NONE,CRT+LFP"

I don't even find any reference of this in "man intel"

Well, thanks for all, I'm closing this bug now :)
