Boot OS to gdm. 2. Suspend or Hibernate system from system menu 3. System will flash the screen and show up the Login window again. 4. By checking syslog there is an error there "gdm[2601]: WARNING: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting :0 " 5. redo suspend or hibernate again. Screen saver will show up.
