I managed to make some screenshot over vnc. Can you reproduce the problem with a 2.6.30 kernel and 2D driver 2.7.99.902 or newer? My 865 and 855 are happy at this point with the latest fixes (just one hang fixed post-2.7.99.902) I am no longer in possession of the machine. Moreover, I have no time for compiling kernels and drivers. I do not find it funny to combat bugs in software. I need a computer that just works. Since you are not in a position to test the latest code, and since Eric's testing suggests that things are working, I'm closing this bug report now.
