Created attachment 22351 [details] dmesg output On my Eee PC 701, Xorg crashes on start with kernel modesetting. dmesg output contains quite a few errors, such as this: i2c-adapter i2c-2: unable to read EDID block. pci 0000:00:02.0: LVDS-1: no EDID data [drm:intel_crtc_mode_set] *ERROR* Couldn't find PLL settings for mode! If necessary I can priovide a more complete backtrace (I usually don't keep debugging symbols on this system). System environment: -- chipset: 910GML -- system architecture: 32-bit -- Linux distribution: Debian unstable -- Machine or mobo model: Asus Eee PC 701 -- Display connector: -- xf86-video-intel: 66bc44e8f9a0505c0b11b8042243ca74079da85f -- xserver: 1.5.99.901 -- mesa: 7.2 -- drm: e37bd24d3c99319b372517c2ddb77bfb4829f1df -- kernel: drm-intel-next bf124c2af18de1b3565b5a45bef02c6118cc9efd
