This is Intel's 2008 Q3 release. several questions: 1) Is this a regression, i.e. did it once work for you? 2) how about the status of latest Q4 release? 3) What if you get rid of the xorg.conf and let X decide itself? thanks. 1. Yes, this is regression. In previous version of distribution that i use (opensuse 10.3, 11.0) it worked fine. 2. with the Q4 release my xserver don't start. it is aborted it signal 11. 3. you need to get rid of the via driver that's crashing X.
