Sadly the error message isn't relevant; on these G5 cards the second TMDS output uses an additional encoder off the main chip die which we don't know how to turn on or talk to. Since there's no utility to trace the execution of the nvidia driver under OSX, as there is x86 linux, finding out how to do it is non-trivial and would require a lot of trial and error from a motivated person. This issue is already noted in bug 15206. I imagine you can get a second head to work using a DVI->VGA converter on the second output, but admit this isn't entirely satisfactory. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 15206 *** |
