log with "infinite loop" backtrace

Forwarding this Ubuntu bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106060 where the "molecule" screensaver hack (from xscreensaver) makes X lock up on ATI Rage 128 AGP cards (1002:5046 and 1002:5446 at least).

This has been seen in syslog:
[drm:drm_lock_take] *ERROR* 3 holds heavyweight lock

- The problem is still present in Ubuntu 8.10
- The problem also affects molecule when run standalone and -root
- The problem still occurs when run with option "ForcePCIMode" "true"

The attached log is from running xserver 1.5.3 and has a backtrace.

Is this still a problem?

No response. Closing.
Comment 3 Connor Behan 2012-04-15 01:33:37 UTC
Not a fix, but it works if you add -no-labels -no-bbox to the hack.

This should be under mesa btw.
