When I update the intel graphic driver from xf86-video-intel-2.4.0 to 
xf86-video-intel-2.5.0 ,I can not play ts format file with VC1 encoding by mplayer.There was only black image and normal sound.
The glxgears lower than before.
My computer is Thinkpad r61i.Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller.

Does only VC-1 format has this regression after the upgrade? How about other media stream type?

If other media streams are fine too, it's unlikely to be our bug... thanks.

Tested VC1 sample from http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/V-codecs/WVC1/ shows fine on my GM965 here. Any error message in mplayer? Could you test with recent releases other than 2.5.0?

There is no errors.I think I found the problem.It is the win32codecs problem.When I added this and compile mplayer,the problem I described before came.If I get rid of win32codecs,it is OK.
